Services

In addition to designing & developing your site, I also offer:

• Full Service Management of Your Site
• The Ability for YOU to Manage YOUR site - highly recommended!
• Databases Tailored to Your Needs
• Shopping Carts - from basic PayPal to more complex
• Streaming Audio or Video
• Flash Animation

While I am the lead designer & project manager on all projects, I also work with a number of talented programmers, video & Flash professionals, and other skilled associates. Their talents and abilities enable me to offer you a wider range of possibilities for your site.

Don't understand this whole "domain name" thing and wonder what a "web host" is?
No worries, I can help you comprehend all that and explain the process of getting your site completed and online.

Managing a web site yourself has never been easier. I have set-up many clients with Content Management Systems (CMS). You don't need to know HTML or "coding" to update your site. Contribute, a simple, inexpensive CMS from Adobe, could work for your site, or there are many other options depending on the management features required.

Why Choose Me

My forte is small businesses, sole proprietors, artists. I understand your needs and can create a site that reflects your business and personality. Of course, I work with larger clients too! Everybody is welcome at ritama design!

I've been doing this a long time, I know what I'm doing, I'm easy to get along with and, most importantly, I do pretty nice work. (Well, so say previous clients).

Costs

The big question usually is.....How much does it cost? The truth is, it varies according to the length, width, and breadth of your project. However, since I know you'd like, at the very least, a little bit of an idea, here you go...But please, don't "cost out" your site based on these examples! Call me to discuss your project and I will happily give you a free estimate based on your exact needs.

Most of the sites I create are between $2,200 and $4,000. but I do projects for less and a few for more. My hourly rate is $85; for non-profits,$75.

If you want a simple site with basic graphics and 1 - 3 pages, prices start at around $500 and go up, it all depends on the graphics & features and the time we spend working out details.

Even if you want to keep it simple, most people usually want more than a single page and some additional features. For instance, a newsletter sign-up, or a simple shopping cart to sell a few things, or the ability to edit the content yourself, those features would add to the price. Once again, pricing depends on the graphics and features needed and time spent on client communication.

Here's the scoop about a few of the websites I have done:

Stages Improv and Cat Paws Massage range in price from $400 - $650.

The iDiOM Theater and Carolyn McCarthy range in price from $800 - $1,200.

Floral Designs, infinite laughs and Many Hats are in the $1,500 - $2,000 range.

Dr. Dandelion and Cody Rivers are in the $2,500 - $3,000 range.

Willenbrink-Johnsen, HyperAcousia, and Pohlman Knowles are in the $3,500 - $4,000 range.

Sculptural Glass Doors was around $10,000. The design layouts were extensive, and we worked with a programmer to develop a feature-laden shopping cart with an admin side so the client can edit everything on his site.

I hope this helps, but, as I said, please don't "cost out" your site based on these examples! Call me to discuss your project and I will happily give you a free estimate based on your exact needs and budget.

Non-Profit? Doing good work in the community? My rates are $75 an hour for you.

Many Hats

I knew that I wanted a beautiful, easy-to-navigate, informative website. Ritama gave me that. What everyone says when they see the site is, "Oh! It's so YOU!" I didn't know I wanted that, but Ritama understood that that's what this is all about: creating a useful tool that truly reflects the client. Thanks, Ritama! You rock!
Carolyn McCarthy - actor & writer

Ritama listened to my ideas and overall vision for my website & created a site for me that by far exceeded my expectations.  Not only did she create a site that was professional and easy to navigate, it was a piece of art as well!
Kim Zylstra
